Financial Assistance Policy
Memorial Hospital is committed to providing emergent and medically necessary care to all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. This policy outlines the circumstances under which Memorial Hospital will provide free or discounted care to patients who are unable to meet their financial obligations and explains the process for determining eligibility.
It is the policy of Memorial Hospital to ensure that no patient will be denied emergent or medically necessary care based on inability to pay. Patients who meet the financial assistance criteria will receive care either free of charge or at a reduced cost based on household income, assets, and family size in accordance with Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG).
